
I updated the original website design I had previously created for the client, transforming it into a much more modern, clean, and mobile-friendly platform. The refreshed design was tailored to align seamlessly with the Boathouse brand while also being adaptable for their sister venue, the Beach House Café at Mudeford. To complement the new look, I re-wrote all website text and sourced a complete library of imagery, alongside new photography to showcase updated areas of the business.
I restructured the on-page SEO around popular keyword phrases to improve search performance, and I also took on the management of all social media channels to ensure consistent messaging and engagement. Events promotion was delivered through both PR activity and targeted online digital marketing campaigns, while email management included setting up bespoke signatures for each employee to strengthen professional communications.
Beyond the website, I provided graphic design support across multiple areas, including menus, posters, signage, and even van sign writing, helping to create a cohesive visual identity both online and offline. Email marketing played an important role too, with bespoke newsletter designs and data capture to build the mailing list. To keep the site fresh and relevant, I carried out regular monthly updates covering events, promotions, imagery, and menu changes.
